I am also a Realtor and assist buyers, sellers and investors on real estate purchases, and teach comparative market analysis classes for the Ada County Association of Realtors.

It takes years to develop a good reputation in this business. Strict adherence to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice "USPAP" is not always popular, but it is required to safeguard the public trust. To maintain appraiser independence, it takes strength, courage, and a willingness to end client relationships when necessary. Many of the problems in the real estate market today are a direct result of the institutional control of appraisers and the appraisers that complied. My standards are high; I embrace USPAP and appraiser independence.
As a Certified Residential Appraiser, I am at the highest level of licensure for residential appraisal practice. During the past ten years, I have completed over 500 hours of appraising and real estate education and over 3,000 appraisal assignments. I regularly update my education to stay current and improve my technical expertise. This, along with my work as a Realtor, makes me one of the most experienced appraisers in the area.
